SKIN CARE HAUL

Hello loves, I hope you're all doing well. I've slowly started to build up my skin care collection so I decided to go to The Beauty Boutique and pick up a few more bits to add to it. I was initially looking for an eye cream as I've noticed wrinkles forming around the corners of my eye whenever I smile or laugh. Obviously there's no way a beauty junkie could leave The Beauty Boutique with ONLY an eye cream; I picked up the La Roche-Posay Redermic Anti-Aging Concentrate,  La Roche-Posay Sunscreen Spray in SPF45, and a bottle of the Bioderma Makeup-Removing Micellar Solution.

I've been wanting to try a bottle of Bioderma for nearly five years now. I first discovered this French gem from beauty bloggers/vloggers who have raved about the product for the last few years and who continue to repurchase it. Bioderma wasn't available in Canada up until a few years ago, however the prices were ridiculously high until recently as a bottle used to be over $30.00 and now it's $14.00.  There was also a purifying blue micellar solution, however I was just looking for a simple makeup-removing solution so I went with the pink bottle instead. It's specifically meant for sensitive skin as it is hypoallergenic and it soothes and clears up irritated skin. It's also amazing at cleansing and removing eye makeup, and the best part is I don't have to rinse m face after using this which makes it the perfect solution for those lazy nights where you don't feel like going through the whole skin care routine.

While searching around for some goodies I overheard a Beauty Advisor that worked there informing another customer that sunscreen is so important because even though it can be raining or snowing outside, the suns harmful rays can still reach us and cause serious damage to our skin. I decided I'd pick up a sunscreen spray so that I could just quickly spray it on and add it to my daily routine. It's fast absorbing with a weightless texture that leaves a matte finish on my face. It's also water resistant for up to forty minutes which makes it perfect for those rainy and snowy Canadian days.

I've really loved this skin care brand ever since I first tried their body lotion when I visited Poland last summer. I was surprised to see the Canada had this brand in stores as I had never seen it before. I picked up the Intensive Retinol Eye Corrector oncentrate, it has a refreshing texture that easily works itself into the skin.
