The other day I was shopping with my mom and we decided to stop by The Beauty Boutique. There were so many brands to choose from but I gravitated towards the Urban Decay Cosmetics area. I've been in need of a setting spray and I heard that Urban Decay has a great selection of those. I've also had my eyes on the Vice palette for quite some time now and with all the Beauty Bloggers and Vloggers praising it, I've been wanting it that much more.
Urban Decay has so many setting sprays to choose from but I went with Chill which is a cooling and hydrating setting spray recommended for dry to combination skin types. When used, it mists onto the face to help prevent any smudging of makeup or setting in fine lines. It has a cooling effect that makes it perfect for summer time as well to help cool off the face and to keep makeup from melting off and running down your face. It doesn't leave a sticky residue or tight feeling on the face, in all honesty I can't even feel it when I spray it on...but it definitely does its job as I woke up one morning after forgetting to remove my makeup and it was still in place - hahaha!
This setting spray is also made without: Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates
URBAN DECAY - VICE PALETTE
The back of the box has a preview of all the colours inside the palette. Bitter, Flame, and Delete convinced me that I needed the palette and I bet you can see why. There is also a small excerpt of how the palette came to be.
Inside the box is the palette, packaged into a Vice designed makeup bag, that thankfully is large enough to hold a large amount of makeup.
The Vice palette itself is stunning. It has vibrant green, blue and purple hues on the cover with the signature Vice Palette linear design along with the Urban Decay logo.
The colours inside are gorgeous! They are so pigmented, so I don't need to pack them onto my lid to get the colour to show, which is a lifesaver when I'm rushing. I love that this palette has a mix of matte and shimmery colours, as well as cool and warm toned shades. They apply with an almost cream like texture and blend so well. My smokey-eye has never looked as good as it does when I use this palette. It also comes with a Vice Shadow Brush in 88M52F. It's a dual-ended brush; one side being a shadow brush, and the other a crease brush which is so handy!
Here are the swatches of the shades in the Vice palette, gorgeous aren't they?
The shades are extremely vibrant and the colour payoff is amazing. I'm so happy that I purchased this palette, I can't wait to create unique looks for you all very soon!
